Trans-Esophageal Echocardiography Education Model

Four hearts sliced to demonstrate 4 different trans-esophageal echocardiography (TEE) planes (mid-esophageal 4 chamber view, mid-esophageal long axis view, transgastric short mid-papillary and bicaval). Holes integrated for 6mm x 1.75mm round magnets.

Specs —

Models were printed in PLA. We used silver for high contrast. If using a single nozzle printer, print with outsides of heart facing the bed so that there are less supports on the heart interior. We used epoxy to glue the 6mm x 1.75mm magnets into the holes.
