Anterior Shoulder Dislocation Ultrasound Task Trainer/Phantom
A High-Fidelity Model of an Anterior Shoulder Dislocation for use in POCUS Training. This model was produced using a multistep/multimaterial process. The bones were 3D printed using PLA plastic. A mold was created from the surface scan of a shoulder and 3D printed in PLA. The 3D printed bones and base were then fit into the mold and ballistics gel was poured into the mold to create the soft tissue element of the model. The resultant model can be examined using ultrasound as the ballistics gel is sonolucent and the PLA bone is sono-opaque.
